MOLES CAN MAKE YOU INSECURE - LEARN HOW TO GET RID OF THEM

Moles are very common and many people have at least 10 to 40 moles. Moles are kind of like humans they have a lifecycle. Moles typically can last an average of 50 years.

The majority of moles appears when we are young anywhere from ages 0-25.  Moles can range in size and color. They tend to be a single color. Most are brown, but they can be tan, black, blue, pink, red, skin-toned, and even colorless.

Moles usually have a border area. It is important to take note of the border area and observe it in case you see signs of skin cancer discussed later in the article. Typically, moles will be flat, but sometimes they will be slightly raised. They don’t change in size or shape often. Moles are not always alone on a body. Sometimes they form in clustered groups on a part of your body.

If you have moles know they are often harmless BUT, if you have more than 30-50 moles on your body you can be much more likely to get Melanoma.

Melanoma is a more serious skin cancer and we will discuss how to spot it later in this article.

Are Moles Dangerous?

Moles are not usually dangerous but it is important to observe any new moles or irregularities on your skin.

The main complaint people have about moles is that it makes their skin look less attractive. Imagine going to the beach and seeing all these people walking around with smooth glowing skin and then you take your shirt off and your skin is covered in unsightly moles.

Many people with moles report having issues feeling confident during sex. It’s not just the beach, having moles on your body can cause poor self-image and high anxiety in the bedroom. If you are lucky then you are with a person who does not care about your moles but if you feel unattractive because you have moles there is GOOD NEWS! There are ways to get rid of most moles that don’t cost that much and work well such as

Skin Ointment For Moles – When it comes to moles a great and inexpensive way to get rid of them is using a Wart cream. Warts are kind of like Moles cousins and sometimes it is hard to tell the difference between them unless you know what to look for. The bottom line is , if your mole is not too deep into your skin you should try a wart ointment like Wartrol first before anything else. In many cases applying this to your mole for a few days or weeks will help lighten the mole or dissolve it completely. To find out more about Wartrol click here .

Mole Removal Pen (Plasma Pen) – You have probably seen plasma pens on your social media feed lately. Whether its Tik Tok or Instagram it seems people everywhere are using plasma pens to remove moles successfully.

For all you science geeks a good plasma pen works by stimulating your skin cells which trigger them to activate what is known as fibro blasts. The secret to using a plasma pen to remove moles is to get one that can Micro-needle. Micro-needling is when you prick the skin with tiny sterilized needles. These needles don’t hurt and they cause light fibro-blasts on your mole to make more collagen and elastin, which heals your skin and helps eliminate moles.

When you buy a plasma pen it is VERY important to get one that can microneedle if you really want to get rid of your moles successfully. These pens are often more expensive but as they say you get what you pay for. We suggest the Dr. Pen Professional Microneedling Pen. Do not waste your time and money on a lesser quality pen that does not have the microneedling capability.

Tea Tree Oil – People have been using home remedies to remove moles and warts for hundreds of years. From apple cider vinegar to garlic…these methods do not work. BUT…there is a home remedy that has been shown to be somewhat effective for certain people…especially if their moles are flat and not raised. That method is Tea Tree oil. Rubbing Tea Tree Oil daily on your mole for weeks or longer can help remove certain moles. But not all Tea Tree Oils are created equal and you need to use Undiluted Tea Tree Oil for it to work. Many Tea Tree Oils are diluted which means they are not as pure. That is why it is very important to use a Undiluted Tea Tree Oil from a good source.

When should I be worried about my moles turning cancerous?

There is a great system you can use to check if any of your moles are cancerous. A logical way to identify if a mole may be melanoma is following the ABCDEs method of diagnosing moles. When inspecting your moles for signs of cancer it is important to do all the following steps:

A – Asymmetry: if the shape of your mole is uneven on different sides then that can be a sign of asymmetry.
B – Borders: uneven borders that are sharp or jagged can potentially be cancerous.
C – Color: Non-cancerous moles are usually a light or dark brown color. Cancerous moles are often more than one color. If your mole is multicolored that can be a sign.
D – Diameter: Benign moles are about one millimeter big. That is about the size of your belly button. If your mole is noticeably larger than that you might want to watch it.
E – Evolving: Non-threatening moles do not usually change over time. If your mole changes size or color, make an appointment with your dermatologist.

It’s important to routinely check your moles for changes, but having a professional skin cancer screening near you completed yearly is the best way to notice early signs of melanoma. A dermatologist can help you keep an eye on moles that may be hard for you to see or those that may be at-risk for becoming cancerous.

Better safe than sorry. If you catch skin cancer early it is often much more treatable than many other types of cancer.
